Hot off the presses to turbo charge digital transformation in 2020, French automaker Groupe PSA announced it is deploying HMT-1s in 10 countries across 80% of its factories, with technicians logging more than 10,000 hours on RealWear’s rugged wearable device.

This news follows BMW North America’s recent deployment of HMT-1s across all of its North American independent dealerships.

At CES on Monday January 6th, RealWear dropped the news that French car manufacturer Groupe PSA has successfully rolled out HMT-1 enterprise wearables for its factory technicians to improve productivity and quality during the vehicle assembly process.

One of the largest car manufacturers in Europe, Groupe PSA initiated its “Glasses Assist” project with RealWear in March 2018 to improve productivity and quality during vehicle assembly.
