RealWear partner Bruno Schillig will soon equip members of Argentina’s military with HMT-1 voice-operated computers. Those selected to receive HMT-1 devices are part of a special Argentinian team based in Antarctica. This new program will make HMT-1 the first industrial wearable in the world to be sold on all 7 continents. We will provide additional news as this story develops.

Fluke Networks has teamed up with RealWear to demonstrate a “hands free” solution for fiber endface inspection using the HMT-1 wearable rugged Android tablet.
The demonstration will pair the Fluke Networks FI-3000 FiberInspector™ Pro camera with the HMT-1, allowing the inspection of Multiple Push-On (MPO) fiber optic connectors to ensure error-free communications.

Last week, RealWear exhibited GITEX Technology Week in Dubai to showcase HMT-1. Adoption of wearable technology in the Middle East is increasing quickly, and MarketWatch projects the global industrial wearable segment will grow from $1.5B in 2017 to $2.6B in 2023, a 73% jump.
