HMT Release 10.2 Adds Noise Capture and ABC Mode
Noise Capture allows workers to record and share sounds from nearby machinery.
Noise Capture allows technicians and subject matter experts to record sounds at the jobsite, which will complement their visual inspection.

In ABC Mode, users can simply call out individual letters to spell a word, “R-E-A-L,” instead of dictating the NATO word code for each letter.

Both of these new features are designed to improve efficiency and productivity so frontline workers can solve problems faster.

HMT Release 10.2 also includes Android Security Bulletins updates for January, February, and March 2019.

A local technician communicates with a Koenig & Bauer remote expert through Essert connected worker solutions and RealWear HMT-1
It’s 9:00 PM in Copenhagen, and tomorrow’s edition of the newspaper Morgenavisen Jyllands-Posten is ready to go to print. But the printing press stands still and the technician can not find the cause of failure. How can they fix it?

Essert connected worker solutions and RealWear HMT-1.

The technician opens a support call on HMT-1. Meanwhile at the Koenig & Bauer office in Würzburg, Germany, the support agent for the printing press sees the request in their augmented portal. Once they connect with the technician they can instantly see the transferred image of the broken printing press. Together they quickly diagnose and fix the error immediately.

Jyllands-Posten is back up and running, just in time to go to print.
