Transition Technologies Supports Vestas with HMT-1
|
Vestas technicians can complete job orders more effectively and with higher quality thanks to Transition Technologies' connected worker solutions and RealWear HMT-1 hands-free wearable computers.
|
When Vestas introduced Transition Technologies’ solutions on RealWear HMT-1 headsets, they achieved these benefits:
- Bi-directional knowledge capturing and sharing
- Train operators before prototype assembly
- Lower time required to access information
- Trigger change request on demand
- Accelerate onboarding
“For the first time the technology is getting out of the way. Finally, we can allow technicians to focus a 100% of their time to put value into our products. “For a company like ours, a reduction in the time spent on non-value-added tasks such as registration of parts or operation status is of huge importance and provides us with an extremely competitive edge.” Mark Jaxion, Senior Specialist Leading IoT and Industry 4.0 Strategy, Vestas
